Re: cages
Not required,but allowed.
"Roll bars are required in all Prepared cars and in all convertible and open cars regardless of class. Roll bars are
permitted and strongly recommended in all classes and may be required in the future. A roll bar is a steel one- or
two-hoop roll-over protection device, solidly mounted to the structure of the car, and provides two inches of space
between the top of the roll bar and the top of the driver’s helmet. Commercially available “harness bars” and “style
bars” are not acceptable roll-over protection."

It's not what you drive, it's how you drive. "Lap times matter"
Re: cages
i was thinking since it is on a race track and ill probly drive it to the track if i could put a full cage in with a leg protector and a dash bar but not to add any structure to the car was legal in shrow room stock like the kind used in the road runner class at lee or star this is their rule
All cars must have a four point roll cage constructed of 1¾ O. D. X .095 wall steel tubing. The roll cage shall consist of 4 vertical upright bars connected at the top on all sides and shall be adequately cross braced. The base of the upright members shall be solidly welded to the frame of the car. Four curved door bars on the left side and three curved or straight door bars on the right side are mandatory. The roll cage members must closely conform to window/door/roof contour and not be readily apparent when car is viewed from side. Offset cages are not allowed would this be legal if the door bars are removible on the drivers side ?
