WTB: '98-01 Subaru Impreza RS 2.5

I'm looking for a 98-01 Impreza RS 2.5. Must be 5-speed. Any color but red. Prefer the coupe but would be OK with a sedan. Cloth or factory leather are fine. Prefer stock-ish but some aftermarket bits are OK.

Ideal car would be 2000 or 2001 coupe with low to average miles, clean car & title, relatively stock, and black. Cloth or factory leather OK.

This would be a daily driver and occasional fun car.

I might be interested in a car that needs some work, if it were priced accordingly.

But am partial to Blue Ridge Pearl (what my 01 RS was)

They are great cars. 00-01 are by far the best.

Did you try the New England private classified section of NASIOC?

IMHO, Subarus Sedona Red Pearl is a great color. Its a very deep red, almost maroon. Clare calls it Robitussin Red.

Monsiuer Newly Appointed Chief Instructor ... that is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard!
The correct response is red cars appears (and most often ARE) to go faster than others because of it's aggessive colour.
Let's take another stat here:
Those who won their class in 2008:
SSC = RED Alfa Romeo
SSB = Silver VW (neutral colour)
SSA = Silver S2000 (neutral colour)
SSGT = RED 350Z
SSU = Yellow Vette (OK you got my attention ...)
ST-4 = RED Nissan SER
ST-3 = RED RX-7
ST-2 = RED MazdaSpeed 3
ST-1 = Silver STI (Neutral colour)
STGT = RED Mustang Cobra
SPC = Blue S-2000 (Blue is nice!)
SPB = Silver STI (Neutral colour)
SPA = White 911 (White is clean!)
PC = Blue/Yellow Warrior Monte Carlo
PB = Silver Locost Miata (neutral colour)
PA = Black/Yellow BMW (Bumble BEE!)
FP = White van Diemen (white is peace!)

So I see a lot of RED cars here on top of the charts... what say now???
