Riccardo Patrese takes his wife for a ride around the track

Post by Dave_G » Tue Sep 23, 2008 3:01 pm

This is hilarious: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/15/vide ... or-a-ride/

I hope someone can translate the Italian for me, though I did understand "no no no no NO NO NO NO!!!!" and "mama mia" and "vomito". :)

I love the serene look on Riccardo's face throughout the whole thing.

I noticed she got out after one lap. Tell me that wasn't planned

I enjoyed his concentration on track and toning out of passenger; i get yelled at alot for the "nod and smile" I typically have when driving with the wife. :)

aka, not listening.

That was hillarious. It seems odd that she has so little faith in his driving abilities, do you suppose she knows what he does to make all the money she spends? I loved how he just has a smirk on his face the whole time. I'd like to think that if I could ever get my wife in the car she would have confidence that I would not run her into the wall, either that or she would not have her eyes open very long and request an immediate return to the pits. I don't think I'll ever have the answer to this question in my lifetime.

What's her power steering got to do with anything?
It's like when one of my boys farts and laughs about it- my wife looks at me like I did something wrong! I don't know where they get it

I sent the link to an engineer co-worker and he said "the cross on her necklace makes a good G-force indicator"! I told him I had to watch it a few times to realize she had a necklace!
