15" wheels, anyone have a set to lend?

Post by WillM » Tue Sep 02, 2008 11:41 am

Anyone have a set of 15x7 or 15x6.5 wheels, 4x100 bolt pattern, offset 30-45mm range? This is a common front wheel drive size/offset/bolt-pattern. Fits Miata, Nissan, Honda, VW etc.

I'm helping somebody (a buddy who will remain nameless!) at Mosport, and could use an extra set of wheels to mount up some tires. This certain sambody and I would certainly appreciate it! ;)

I'll be happy to dismount, then remount & balance your tires if necessary.

Mickey, Where have you been this year?

Thanks for the offer, but Albany is a bit too far from Boston!

I have a set of 15x6.5 BBS that I used on my Miata. They have old RA1s on them now. In Connecticut of course.

Hi Will, I know ALB is too far - but could not hurt.

Where have I been? Well, working on the car. Head shaved, 1" porting, new valvetrain, stripped interior, sunroof removed with now rivetted cover, new Momo Daytona Seat and sabelt harnesses, etc. I just picked up the car with a brand new Chris Howard roll cage last Friday - spent the better part of yesterday prep and painting it. hmm... flat black with some minor bling! My only track days this year was a WGI with Patroon - other than that mosport is not going to happen cause of time, but I will be at NHIS in oct and finally at SCCA school in April!

As a last resort, I have a (heavy, some 15 lbs) stock Miata 15x6 rims, that I'd be happy to lend.

Will,

If you haven't found anything yet, I'm sure I've got 4 Kosei's with old worthless Toyo's mounted on them. You could pick them up in NH or Framingham, or for another drive in that rocketship of yours, I'm sure I could be convinced to drop them off at Gordon's at some point this weekend.
