Camping at Mont Tremblant

Post by chaos4NH » Sat Jul 05, 2008 8:37 am

DaveG, or anyone else who has camped at the track: I am planning on staying at the track in Mont Tremblant. I will be camping in my car trailer. I understand no showers, how is the lake for freshening up? . Any tips for that? I thought I remembered a shower in the men's room under the timing tower, or I am just dreaming? In any event, your words of wisdom will make the stay more comfy. Oh. I will be hauling a 3KW generator up to run my AC and fridge. :D
If my trailer is stolen this year, I will be in it!!! Let's see, where did that Louisville Slugger go?

PS: I will be posting up to date Notes on Mont Tremblant after NHMS2. In the mean time here is a link to last years chit chat. Lot's of info here on hotels, restaurants, etc.

The lake is wonderful. I look forward to cooling myself with a swim every visit to Tremblant. It's one of the track's many charms. The bottom is mostly covered with sticks and leaves, so it's not like a carefully maintained beach, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for a wild lake.

I remember once John Spain telling me the water is sotf and great.

I don't think you'd get much fish there with NH worms

Also be on the lookout for that French cat Un-Deux-Trois whom according to Carl the Quatre (cat) Cinq (sank)...
