HELP!!
Does anyone know who i can call to ask questions about my sick 944 2.5 ltr engine? I also might need someone to rebuild it. Lot's of oil use. Also eating coolant now. The engine has good compression though. ?? Mario B.

PS, anyone want to drive to VT to pull a motor out of a Porsche? I have a lift.

Mario
My friend says probably head gasket
A comp. test wont show leaks this small (leak down would be better)
He said pull the plugs- if they are white you are prob. getting coolant in the cyls.
PM me if you want to get in touch with him ( he is on MA/NH border in Haverhill)

Thanks John. the leak down showed -8% leakage in #1 cylinder. all the others were -2 to 3%. The #1 cylinder has a little scoring that we figure is why the -8% leak. Would this still point to a head gasket?

Tough to say without ripping it apart
Something must have caused the scoreing?
