Thanks Dan (and Gary) .. too bad he missed the Alfa...

must have gone by too fast for him
Anyone with pix from the Alfa please send it to: stephan.depenasse at segway dot com
Rob (Ready): I had a great time with you on the last Saturday session before the TT, wow! what nice "scrap". I hope you got it on video ... would love to get a copy.
Also congrats on the track record, well done! =D>
Then Nate took your car and put us to shame

humbly saying "there is more you can get out of the car"... Geeeshhh!

Thanks Stephan it was a good time playing tag I did get it on tape and will send you a copy. It was a great event for me I want to thank Com and all the people that were involved. If I didn't have that catch I don't think I would have won or even got track record, for the fact I warmed up the tires for Nate to pull out a 107.xxx which got the tires right up to smoking temp ( O the smell). I was only doing 108.xxx I didn't think I could go any faster but his time inspired me to go faster and showed me that my car could go faster. Thanks Nate !!!

Does anyone happen to know anything about the small RV that was at Lime Rock? It was towing an enclosed white trailer I think w/ Florida plates. I am interested in the RV (mfg and model). LRP was cold but fun, just wish I had a nice warm RV to hang out in . . .
TIA,
Fred F

There was another one parked down to the end where the esses are. Not sure if Fred meant that one.
Should'a hanged in there Fred to collect your 5th place cup ... big enough to start putting that spare change for the downpayment of the RV...

Stephan ; I spoke to Gary Booth ( my friend , not a Com member, maybe next year ) last night and he informed me he had a lot more pictures he took and will get a disc with all the pictures over to me in a week or so. I will let you know if there are any of the Alfa but he had some great shots of my black mustang

He knows a great car when he sees one

Plus I feed him lunch.
The Camper down by the esses was a white Ford pickup with a nice pick-up camper on the back with a slide out. I don't know his name but he had a spec Miata and also runs SCCA with it. This is his first year doing this stuff , the truck , camper and trailer were new this year.

If you are taking about the slide in truck campers.
The mfg of the one on the white F250 crew cab (Ken) is a Carabou, and the mfg of the one on the maroon F350 duelie (Chris Tier) is a Lance.

Scott -- your welcome
Does anyone know when the awards banquet is ? My wife is looking at winter vacations and I don't want a conflict.

FLAT BLACK? I've never had a race car soooo shiny. BTW it's hard to capture pictures of FAST moving objects- thus the lack of my car.
I used the radar gun on the front straight during the open track- it was aimed at an angle at the start finish line, which may affect the #s produced, but it did offer a good comparison.
With Chris Conacher behind the wheel of the really fast black Mustang- it recorded the fastest trap speed of 122 mph. The next best was a group of Subarus, M3s and Joel's Trans Am at 115 mph. \:D/

You might all have noticed that the shiny green Corvette was the first one up on the photo album. Now there's a fine car!
Dan, tell your wife the chicken soup was great and it was just the thing for a November Lime Rock date.
