What is the schedule for publishing the rule book? Is it supposed to be finalized by 01-2006?
Already starting to think about next season

If all the rules get voted on tonight, it could be done before the
end of the year, but as in the past couple of years where two
meetings were required, it then gets finalized shortly after the
annual banquet.

...any update on when the 2006 rulebook will be available? I want to know if I'll have to run against those pesky E30 M3s again.

As far as I know, the rulebook should be out very soon.
The class configurations for 2005 will carry over into 2006. As far as I know, the rulebook only changes and adds specific rules, and does not change car classifications.

That is correct, no class changes this year.
There are two open issues with the rule book.
I need to poke a couple of people and put them to bed,
then publish.
