Mosport results are up

Post by rajito » Fri Jun 15, 2007 12:07 am

Mosport event results and updated points standings have been posted. Records to follow in the next few days, likely Monday. I have a life on weekends. Sometimes.

Thanks Raj. Had to rely on Sam's info when I called him from the road...he was either on drugs or trying to psyche me out. Said I won in my SSC class with a time of 1:49 ... all thru my drive home I was cursing because I forgot to have the car techcked. I thought this was not possible because I knew I made mistakes (like accidentally shifting into neutral on my fast lap in turn 5a    ).
Then I was faced with the reality of the results ... much better and well deserved for Rob Ready.
Mark did great too. So did Peter in his Diesel!

But is there *really* that much difference between forward thrust in neutral and forward thrust in 2nd gear with the 2MILLE?

We should rename SSC to SSBodyRoll. I got tipsy every time I caught up to Stephan or Mark B. or the red VW.

Even I get a little queasy when i see video of my car at mosport. It looks like the car might just flip right over.

Stephan, might I also point out that only 1 Miata beat the Grocery Getter. Gordy was cooking!

Thanks Sam, that's the way to use your zoom-zoom! The red rocket looked great out there.

I don't think I've ever been beaten by a Miata before, now I get beat by SIX of 'em (and a grocery-getter).

What can I say Dan? Maybe you should have bought the RX-8.
Get faster or get used to it. :)

WOW! Look who's slammin' now! Gordon gets fast, and the quiet side goes away, replaced with Andrew Dice-Andrade...

Congrats on the fast time BTW!
