Looks like T50 will be merry! The setup will be either:

1) 62.5 (base points) - 5 (200+ lbs overweight) - 2 (tire width 225) + 3 (Nitto NT-01) +1 (Koni single adjustable shocks, OEM sways) = 59.5
2) 62.5 (base points) - 5 (200+ lbs overweight) - 2 (tire width 225) + 3 (Nitto NT-01) +1 (UUC swaybars, Non-adjustable shocks) = 59.5

and in the rain...

Tire width goes to 245 and compound changes to a Star Spec for net 0 points from the above setups.

Looks like it should be a pretty solid setup in the dry, especially at some of the longer tracks. I think I'll have a tough time keeping up with the Miatas at NHMS in the dry, and given the limited flexibility on tires, anytime it rains at any of the tracks.

Folks who run E36's - more bang/buck from a Bilstein sport shock with UUC sways & OEM springs, or keep the Koni's and OEM sways? I've read mixed reviews on using Bilstein Sports with OEM springs, as they aren't always a great match for each other. Worried the setup could end up being a bit too twitchy.

While i've never run that setup, i would think the swaybars on a stock car would make a huge difference. I'd think it would be better than using Koni Adjustables. Plus, the added front end stiffness will help the camber curve.

Make sure you reinforce the rear subframe for the rear sway bar, if you haven't yet.

With the adjustable sway bars, you can change the balance of the car probably more effectively than the small range of adjustment the koni shocks provide.

I think I would agree with Jon. I also have not had personal track experience running the suggested setup but based on my experience on the street running a stiff front bar on stock suspension, the bar helped tremendously.

I haven't run in a while, but plan to put my track prepped M-Roadster into T60. Based on the classification tool, I'm right at 68.7 points and may try to use the extra point on something useful but haven't figured out what that is yet.
