I will ask, again.Dave_G wrote:That reminds me...WillM wrote:The question is, if the track needs to be plowed, how much do we have to tip the plow driver to plow the south oval, and NOT the south chicane?
Given that the no-more-south-oval rule was made before the track was sold, and that at least one other club reportedly used the south oval last year, have there been any discussions with track management about the possibility of COM running the south oval again?

Thanks Sam!
If I remember correctly, the oval configurations are only options to cars/clubs with full rollcages. That said, the SCDA event in 2008 may have bent that rule or been an exception?
With 5 NHMS events this year, running south oval for at least one would be a nice perk!

SCDA is also where the "relaxed" helmet over the wall rule came from. I am not sure what their "in" is.

I have also noticed unmuffled cars, and shorts and short sleeved shirts on hot days too. I know what his bargaining hook is at LRP is, but he seems to be a smooth negotiator at NHMS too.chaos4NH wrote:SCDA is also where the "relaxed" helmet over the wall rule came from. Re: NHMS Update
Having never been to NHMS in very early April, what's the weather is like then?
Air temp? Track temp?
Thanks!

Re: NHMS Update
You ask the tough questions, huh? Seriously, being NH, the weather can be 80 degrees or 30 degrees in early April. I would say a 55 degree day would be great! The track temps might get up to 80 or so with a sunny day and 50 deg air temp.alik wrote:Having never been to NHMS in very early April, what's the weather is like then?

Seriously, plan on cool weather.

Also, it is not uncommon to have it canceled by the track due to residual snow.chaos4NH wrote:You ask the tough questions, huh? Sam said he would personally plow the track this year.
