Thanks Raj! Sorry you missed the event. I drove south oval twice and mowed the grass once in your place.

And in your honour I had not one but TWO students both driving WRX "RAJ BLUE", reminded me of you. We sure missed you there. :(

One more thing on the results:
Look at SSC, SSB and ST-1 and see how CLOSE the times are on top finishes.
How nice to get a mix of cars in a class and they come so incredibly close in times, very very competitive, can't get better than this.

Specifically for SSC class, congrats to Rob! =D> =D> =D>
If ONLY I did not have to steer with one hand and hold 3rd gear with another on turns 1-2a-3-6-9-12 ... hummm.
:-k Next time
In addition to gearbox I have more issues with the Alfa: exhaust busted again and need new springs as the body roll is way out of the normal (as stated by several drivers), advise taken, new stock springs ordered!
Glad next event will be far in October :P

I think there were actually seven classes that were decided by less than .9 of a second - SSC, SSGT, ST1, SPA, ST3, ST4, and SSB.

Great driving by Mike Marshall in SSGT! I knew after our last practice session that I was going to have to push hard to stay ahead of him. He did manage to beat the record I set in July; luckily, I was able to shave another tenth off and stay on top, despite some fairly well-worn tires. Lots of fun in a great event! I just wish we had some more cars in our class - seems like all the rest are shunning the NHIS events.

Lap record and a big field. Kind of like having a straight flush when everyone else has a full house:lol:

If you want Rick, I can take the headers off my Mustang and run in your class  The headers didn't seam to make any difference anyway.

What? If I'm not mistaken that was a personal best for you Dan- and you beat me to boot. Don't get used to it though- the new 'stang is gonna be a contenda sooner than I thought.

Scott ---To do a 1:20:4 the first time out with your new car is fantastic :!: :!:
I can't wait to see what you can do once you get the car sorted out.

For me to do a 1:20:0 is unblievable, I was just hoping to be in the 1:21s, I doubt if I will ever match that time again  but I did shut off the AC this time.
