Stolen Rig
Any news from the Mounties yet?
Thanks to all! I appreciate your concern.
Nothing heard for Up North.
I guess I will set up the old '92 F350 to tow, not knowing what I will be able to swing when the insurance ever comes in. Good truck, lo miles, but a 351ci gasser (glug glug!!), 5 speed manual. Then I will look for a plow truck for the farm and a trailer for the 200sx. I have a tire trailer to tow behind the LRGG. Have to find some tires for NHIS, hoping my friend in Texas comes through with some new/slightly used R6's. I had purchased a new set of Konig wheels, but luckily they stayed in the shop because the R6's hadn't arrived yet.
New front rotors on with Carbotech XP8 pads.
Hmmmmmm, just drive faster? That the secret Frank? I'll give it a try.
Thanks again to all.
Good to hear you are back on the road Tom!

Re: Trailer
Thank you Grove. May take you up on that for NHIS4 and/or LRP, counting on the 200SX to be ready to roll a couple of time, or until the engine ceases to rotate!grovefromnh wrote:Sam. You're welcome to use my trailer anytime.

Up date - Up date!!!
I received today, November 24, a parking citation from the Ville de Montreal. They have ticketed me because my Dodge truck was found illegally parked in a private lot near 1840 ST.-Jean Baptiste (Near the port in Montreal ?). The date of the infraction was August 15. That is exactly 2 weeks after the truck and trailer were stolen. So now, they want $42.00 as a fine for because some thief parked the truck in a private lot. $12.00 of the amount is called IVACI, it states will be used to provide assistance to victims (the parking lot owner?) of crimes (me?) I will, of course, protest the fine and very politely ask if they would check any impound lots for the truck and trailer.
Folks, you cannot believe how angry I am! Two weeks after it is stolen it doesn't pop up as such when they run the plate? They wait 2 months to issue the citation? They must have laid off a good portion of their police force because crime is so low? They never found my truck and trailer? oh my, the NYPD is starting to look very good!
