Auto-x gone bad

First hand account reports he used the wrong lugs. Allegedly the lugs were torqued!

AutoX, first 50 yards into the course, all 4 wheels separate from the vehicle as car enters first course element.

Starts with right rear quickly followed by left rear, right front, and just as it's coming to an end the left front pops off for dramatic measure.

Driver fine. Wallet maybe not so much...

Imagine a nice red FD RX-7 turning into the first cone of a slalom, and having all 20 lug nuts take leave of their studs at the exact same time, and you'll have a pretty good idea of what happened. :shock:
