Thats amazing sheet metal work, but there has got to be an easier way to make molds for the fenders and bumper. Is it possible to glue a big block of foam or something on there and just carve out the shape you want?

Serious hours indeed. Two questions:

1. What's it weigh?

2. Does the builder get an automatic suicide watch ticket if he slides into a wall? I know I'd be crying after all that work!

There was a Japanese series where they did exactly that. Glued styrofoam blocks onto an NSX and built an F40 body kit.

Of course if you really want to do it right this is the way it should be done.
