Palmer Motorsports Park and CMI

Good news for Palmer Motorsports Park:
http://www.palmermotorsportspark.com/ (you won't find much here, yet)
Palmer Motorsports has received the approval of wetlands from the town and soon will be appying for all the permits that will produce the Building Permit.
The funding approach taken at Palmer was different from CMI. No money will be taken until permitting is complete. Since that time is near and the business plan is ready we are now starting to talk to "qualified investors" that can make a sizable investment.
I am now on the management team and have been working on the business plan.

Bruce,

Congratulations for your new position on the management team of Palmer Motorsports! Sadly, am also bummed about CMI. Hopefully Palmer Motorsports does not face any opposition as CMI is experiencing and look forward to the day tarmac is being laid down at Palmer Motorsports.

Am sure you know the CMI situation has gotten the attention of various investors and perhaps made them a bit gun shy concerning other projects :( Please keep us in the loop to the new track's progress look forward to having COMSCC add Palmer Motorsports to their 2009 schedule.
Enjoy the Track,

Steven R.

I only hope I am around long enough to see eaither of these facilities open. It only takes a small minority of people to delay this type of project for years.

It took over 7 years for Autobahn motorsports park to get their facility open. AND YOU HAVE TO DRIVE PAST 2 OIL REFINERIES TO GET THERE!

Thanks for the update on regional track possibilities.

Too bad to hear what's going on in Tamworth. First I had heard of the Palmer plan. Would certainly be great for those of us in New England.

Best of luck Bruce,
Dennis
Sad to see my SSB 2001 Miata go.
