Hey Raj, I told you that "special" oil I sold you was worth 5-8 horsepower. You weren't ready for that extra burst of speed on the straight leading into T1! Don't say I didn't warn ya!rajito wrote:Yes sir, Steve, it is in good spirits. We had a heartfelt conversation about my reckless and wanton ways, and I think we are cool now.

Raj:
I first met you at SP many years ago. When I was first running control there.
You had put your car off the track at the base of the hill leading up under the bridge, and a mirror or some minor bit got wiped off.
I thought you had come out of the incident pretty well and should have left it at that.
But no, during a break you insisted I take you down to that turn so you could climb up the bank and root around in the dirt for the missing part. Which you found. It didn't look like it was worth the effort but you seemed pleased.
I thought then that you were crazy, and I still do.
But I've seen you become an impressive driver. And that's what counts.
Drive well and hard at Calabogie.
I don't know who'll be there to help you look for lost car parts.
Best Regards - Bill

Got it. Thanks for the tippers. We'll refresh those point-bys at the drivers meeting and after instructors have had their own session.brucesallen wrote:bring water, food and soap or GoJo and shop towels. None at track. Although it is only 5 minutes to the metropolis of Calabogie.

The track people said they barely got "some form of bathroom" installed so short of bringing your own toilet, Bruce's shop list is the way to go.
Also bring toilet paper?
