I heard that event was terrible last season. They were black flagging for "excessive speeds"

just a heads up.

Are you implying that COM does not black flag for excessive speed? If I knew that I would have gone much faster.

Hmmm.... I cant make Calabogie. But, a day trip to NHIS might be do-able.

Which could be more fun, the SCCA on Monday or SCDA on Tuesday? Care to "vote for one"?

Steve: you're way beyond the SCCA event. I think you'll have more fun (less frustration) at the SCDA event.

p.s. Missed you at the Glen.

As reported by Mike Marino- he was one of the quicker drivers at the last SCDA event at NHIS. This in a well equiped but unsorted Mustang with a driver with 3 COM schools under his belt. Lots of big buck car owners coming up to him in the paddock to find out what he's got (1:25 south chicane). It might be fun to go and harrass some of the regulars...just kidding....sort of.

I'll most likely be at the SCCA event on Monday, sorting out the new ride.

It was a little silly last year, I'm hoping they took some of the suggestions we made about last year's event and made improvements. I hope some more of the COM crowd are there, it was fun having the whole advanced run group to ourselves to play... even if Raj got us yelled at.

I'm the slowest man in racing today and even *I* got black flagged for excessive speed. With that said, after they lightened up it wasn't too bad. I won't be at this one but I will be at the SCCA event the days before.

Just talked to Terry...

"Day of" registrations/payments are allowed now, though faxing your application is preferred. Terry's fax number is 860 269 8110.

only 21 people have signed up that means 7 cars per run group... that's unheard of!

My understanding is that the organizers have taken last year's suggestions into considering and I'll believe we'll be able to run as COMers do.

jason, I'll meet you there monday morning. I'll probably stay at Red roof inn or norton, ma.

Mick, Jay - hope you guys have a great time. I can't wait to hear how the new ride is coming along! Open test day on July 5, maybe I can wheel it around then!
