OLD HELMETS NEEDED for Auto-X event
Hello:
If you have a snell 90 or higher rated helmet that you NO LONGER use, I will be happy to take it from you.
I can collect them at our COM events or send me a private message for making mailing arrangements.
This is for an Alfa CLub Auto-X event and based on club's rules any Senll 90 or higher is OK. As you know for COM you must have Snell 2000 or better so you old helmets can be put to good use here.
Tks,
Stephan

I have a Simpson SA95 helmet that won't qualify for racing any more.
It's open face type which is good if you need to put on glasses after the helmet is on.
A few dings and scratches after 6 years of 12 Hour Enduro races. Otherwise good.
And I can still type with one finger so it must have given a bit of protection.
Do you want it?? I live about 20 minutes away from NHIS, so we could easily connect.
Best Regards -Bill Miskoe

I'm not going to WGI, but I'm in Bedford pretty often.
Send me some location details -' irondragon@nhecwb.com '- and I'll drop it off.
When is your first event??
I'd be delighted to get a Segway ride but I'm recovering from a knee injury and probably not at my best re standing and balancing right now.
Can I have a rain check on the ride??
Best Regards - Bill Miskoe

I'll check my old helmet and if it's decent I'll bring it to The Glen. Does it need to be SA or can it be M? I think mine might be an M95.StephanAlfa wrote:Thank you all for this. PLease remember to bring them to WGI or make another arrangement with me.

Drivers and passengers must wear a minimum M2000 (SA2000 recommended) Snell approved safety helmet at all times while on the course.
I know what I need for COM. I was wondering what Stephan needed for the Alpha group. I'll give him my old M helmet if it's good enough for his group.

Much appreciated!
I am packing the Alfa now and because of the new roll cage I need to wiggle the race tires thru the bars. It's going to be an interesting ride. Need to decide on whether to bring rain tires or just chance it with dry set. I have no more room and don't want to overload the car.
Thank you all for the gestures. Keep it coming!
