Watkins Glen is ON!!!
Watkins Glen is ON!!!
Watkins Glen is a GO!!!
The track confirms that we'll be all set for Monday. The off-track areas will be muddy. If you go off track, prepare for mud, mud, and some more mud. Also prepare to sit and wait for the wrecker to pull you out.

Wow, mud central! Looks like lots of fun in my new 4x4 Off-Road tow vehicle
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GUYS... a note for my own self-preservation. If you go off track please be kind to us open wheel folks, as kicking mud in our face is not sportsman-like.
Bruce, if you need some standard helmet visor tear-offs i have some.

Yes sir Private RyanRyanC wrote:Steve, after seeing the F-car off more than once, make sure you extend the same courtesy to us tintops
Am already set to basically take things slow and easy for Saturday and learn the car. ABSOLUTELY NO NEED to rush anything, so odds are may actually be slower in the open wheeler than the 308 and am very much happy to be in that mode. Am leaving the down force on the slightly highish for WGI as a precaution.
Hmm... perhaps the 2008 Ford F-250 Superduty with off-road tires would be a better bet for WGI excursions? That truck would make Miatas nearly imperceptable speed bumps on the way to the start/finish line
