no. No one showed up last year and we lost $$$ even though they cut the rent in half. We like the main track but seem to have lost that. Even then, it is so far that we never had good turnout.

oh really? the track seems to be popular. the main track meaning summit point or shenandoah the 2.2 miler?

Isnt WV closer to New England than Mosport and the other tracks in Canada?

I think Shenandoah goes begging a lot. Last summer I was racing with SCCA on the main (2.2 mile) track and Shenandoah was unoccupied.
It takes about 10 hours to get to either Summit or Mosport.

They're about the same distance, but the tow to Summit feels a lot longer because it's so dam boring. When you tow to Mosport or Tremblant there are some mental milestones to keep you occupied, Burlington, Canadian border Montreal, the 401...

I really like Shenandoah and am disappointed we're not going back, but I guess I'm in the minority.

Except for those few of us members who don't live in the Boston/southern NH area. For me, it's about 7 hours to Mosport and 9 hours to Summit Point. (And 3 hours to NHIS :( )

See you at Mosport! :hello2:

I am in CT, so i am closer. THe track seems to have something going on all the time, but I do have to admit it is scary to have all the concrete walls around you.
