I don't know if I can start doing herbal tea, I'm already in trouble with Scott R. for drinking wine instead of beer. :?

Unoffical update

Post by sdcham1 » Fri Apr 06, 2007 1:45 pm

Hello All, Please note that I hate to be the one that brings bad news but I just spoke to a source at NHIS, Monday will be canceled. Tuesday is still a go. Not sure what the club is going to do for this. Any ideas!!! Hopefully things will change.

Regards
Scott C

This is third-hand info, but I was just told that the track is trying to contact Alex to inform him that Monday is cancelled and Tuesday is a go. Like I sais this is from a member (not me) that called the track and was told this.

Hello,

I am awaiting final decision from NHIS regarding our 4/9-4/10 event. Bette from NHIS is due to provide me the final decision at 2pm today.

Proper notice will be provided to all members immediately when we receive word from NHIS. Please do NOT bombard NHIS with your personal concerns about Monday-Tuesday. I do not want the track annoyed with us as a club.

Thank you.

Alex, when you make an announcement can you explain what will happen to the scheduling of non licensed drivers in regards to their time trial eligibility? You were probably going to do that.

If Monday is canceled, what is my option to withdraw from the whole event without losing my entry fees?

I have a personal scheduling issue, I was only going to run the 2 morning sessions on Tuesday and need to skip the time trial to make it home in order to meet a vendor for my wedding in the evening. With a full day on Monday, I was willing to make the sacrifice, but it really isn't worth it to come up for just 2 morning sessions on Tuesday.

Just got my Alfa from the garage and is race ready.
COld waether we are used to (ex: Lime Rock in November) but lingering snow on the track can be an issue and I do not beleive the plow at NHIS but I'll be we'll have pently of volunteers if it comes down to this.
