Looking to crew Monday

Post by jeffreystrong » Tue Apr 03, 2007 4:19 pm

I'm not registered for NHIS, but am thinking of coming up on Monday. I don't spectate very well, so I prefer to have some involvement. If you might like a hand let me know. I can turn a wrench, and help out.

Jeffrey,

Wow, many thanks and yes, will need a hand as this is my first event in an open wheel car so ANY help will be GREATLY appreciated. Look for the black Ford F-250 with 18-ft v-nose silver Cargopro.

Again, many thanks and will find a way to compensate you.
Enjoy the Track,

Steven R.

Just come by the Subaru camp. I'm sure we'll be disassembling and reassembling our cars as usual.

Hey Raj:
I hear it will rain. Do you still bleed brakes when it rains?

I think you guys use too much brake :P :P :P

So Greg will be having the BMW Turner Crew, Alfa compound will have pasta and expresso, Miata will have herbal tea, Subaru will be bleeding their brakes and attempt to scrounge small cars for "kindle fire",
who else is making what?
I have not heard the Ford and Vette crew say anything.
Oh yeah, Porsche guys still eating quiche from the awards dinner???
And just one more question: when are we racing???
Happy Tuesday! countdown TT minus 5

I'm driving a Lotus, so that means I can't bring anything!

HI Bob:
You must have missed some of Raj comments about a Lotus Elise: seems you'll be in his class so you need to bring - literally - a bowling alley. Point is all the bowling balls need to be in your car when you are racing ...

Do I need to get my name on a crew list for NHIS? I know NHIS usually likes to charge $20 for spectators, but does not charge for individuals listed as crew if thier name is listed as such.

Work has approved the request, see you guys on Mondays.

I don't believe there has been any charge for crew or spectators at NHIS for the last couple of years.

Just be sure to sign the waiver at the Main Gate and get your nifty wristband.

Dan, no point-bys are needed when you're off in the weeds!

I'll need at least two bowling balls in the car if I'm on the track with Raj!

He was giving my Elise funny looks while it was up in the air at Fastrack
last Saturday.
