You can if you drop the clutch at 8K :) Man, sounds so painful

Dont do this - I've read reports of guys twisting out the rear axles, which are puny!

I have a 2002 and love it. Its my daily driver and I drive it in the snow (Dunlop wintersport winter tires). I love it to pieces.. I'd track it but a roll bar would make the car too small for me.

You're going to love it, enjoy 9000 rpm!

ps- the K&N air box makes it sound awesome. I love intake noise. it transforms the s2000 at 6500 rpm when vtec wakes up.

I dont think I have launched my car over 2500RPM, I am too weak to try that.
