Posted on Alfa BB (Buletin Board), Alfa Classique (France, oh well...) and Alfa Owners of New England (AONE).

Hoping to increase Alfisti presence ... maybe by at least 1 or 2 more?

Posted a link to the schedule in the Fchat Tri-State area and it seems a few guys just may show up. Of course the NY/NJ guys are Ferrari DRIVERS... unlike their New England counterparts is seems.
Enjoy the Track,

Hi,

A bunch of SCCA mohud solo2 members (many with track school experience) are interested in MT. Though it's NOT apperant from my post, about a dozen are talking about going, hopefully more decide to come.

Read my post and let me know if I missed anything.

Thanks,
mickey

Thanks Mark. I guess the only question I have is how does COM handle members with SCCA club licenses or instructors from other clubs? What checks do we do before allowing them to participate? Mickey

Very carefully!

Much like we normally do and did recently at WGI: we go thru the normal student/instructor procedure on 1st session before anything. Need to understand we are a point-by club and this is very important for safety reasons.
I suggest when they apply that they so indicate their past experience as this will make it easier for the Chief Instructor (Carl) to decide on having a full student session on just a check by an instructor.
However first and foremost - even if you are an licensed F-1 driver with super license - you need to be cleared by a COM instructor.
Hope this helps.
