It's called Victory lane, Phil Hill is on the board of advisors. The site says it will have a Private airport, Motorsports complex, Golf course, Luxury Condos, Spa...

First I've heard of it. Anyone know anything about it?

Now that sounds like a retirement community! Think they"d take a check?
I was talking with a member of Jim Mullen's race team over the summer. They run a Spice car in a vintage series in Europe and US. He was telling me about a new track in Italy (?) that had it's own airport big enough for commercial jets and ammenities that he claimed were the best he's seen. It's encouraging to see that the racing community is being catered to like the golfers...let me day dream a little...wake up around 8:00, get 30-40 laps in before lunch. 9 holes of golf after lunch (18 would take me away from the track too long). Go for a quick swim, then another 30 laps in the pm. Dinner, a little wrenching on the car and bed.
Or skip the meals and everything else, eat pop tarts out of the box, and race until I drop or the car breaks!

Speaking of Club Motorsports, it has been a few years and still waiting. Have not heard from them in quite some timectkag wrote:Considering what the buy-in fees were for Club Motorsports, I don't think I want to see what the prices are for this place - though maybe Georgia would be less expensive than NH.
At least you know the neighbors aren't going to complain about the noise!
