Sounds like ideal driving conditions. Looking forward to it.

I would like to introduce myself here. I'll be driving an 04 STi. I joined with COM at the Big Subaru Meet earlier this year.

John at Drivers Supply is already talking me into a Miata.
I'm almost convinced, and I haven't even been to the track yet.

I'm don't really know the NASIOC crowd, but I do know, there are some of you here. Looking forward to meeting with you guys.

Karting is my only experience driving on a track. This should be a good learning experience.

Welcome - look forward to meeting you. There'll be a gaggle of Subies in the garage - stop over and say 'Hi'. Pay no attention to anything the Injun tells you about 'bombing' into corners.

Do a few track days in the STi and you'll never be happy in a Miata!

Boy, do you have quite an experience awaiting you.

Having a face-to-face with Awesome Raj, Sandy and GeorgeTheFierce all in one weekend!

Good luck and have fun running with COM.

Welcome - you will have a blast!

Come to the dark side Luke ;)

(Track days are a sure fire way to have no money :) ), so it helps if you drive a car that can go 3 seasons on one set of brake pads and rotors.

yup, come hang out in the Suby/Miata garage section where you will find the ever rare STi Miata and another Miata sporting the NASIOC.com logo on the trunk...

as Timmy said....once you go through a set of pads and rotors in 2 days, those 12.99 Miata rotors start looking pretty damn tasty!

Thanks for the warm Welcome.

This should be a lot of fun and I'll be sure to "keep looking ahead."

I like the the Miata/STi debate. I think I undertstand both sides of the arguement. This is my thrid Subie, I might be somewhat stubborn.

I've done quite a bit of searching on different forums for the past couple of months. I think I'm prepared, at least for this weekend.

GTF -

Are pink tires required on all Miata's or just ST4 Miata's?

Do you actually sell that pink paint?

I wish! There will likely be others that get pink'd before I do.

Speaking of pink, I need to have a talk with Mattel and ask for a Barbie sponsorship.

This thread has reached 'OT' standards quite quickly!
