my wife Margarita was turning average laps not being held up of high 58's low 59's.for a few reasons I'm not going to say what my times are but all I will say is holly crap the cars are fast!
this rental business is starting to take off getting the cars booked for event's. we have had a number of people asking if we would rent the cars for people wanting to do COMSCC events? the answer is yes! we will be adding in a link to our rentrushr.com site to the COMSCC schedule.
we are still buying more and more equipment for the cars and the business. we hope to have the smarty cam 3 cameras and a laptop very soon for video and data.
we are not this 1st season because we are just starting to get our feet wet with renting cars going to rent them for racing however we will rent them for doing time attack events with COMSCC and NASA but not for W2W. because the rush cars are built for the rush sr spec series we are running and renting our cars in spec form. so the spec ECU's , balanced and blue printed sealed engines, and Nankang AR1 100TW tires are what the cars will be running.
we have one paid renter for the COMSCC event at palmer. I was thinking of running the other car with COMSCC that same day as it's not rented.i'm still on the fence about it as I haven't ran with COM in many years so I no longer hold a license.
another thing we have to do is get the cars to the Dyno just to see what the wheel HP is.
right now we are renting the cars to run at LRP , Palmer and Thompson for 1295 per day. depending on what other track a renter may want to go to the prices are different. the reason is travel distance and the high cost of diesel and tolls. the 3 tracks are with in 200 miles round trip so the fuel cost and tolls are added into the rental cost.
