TREMBLANT

WOW

First, great job by Carl and Wendy. Thanks to the volunteers and helpers for making the event go so smoothly.

What a track. For those who did not go, you missed a great event in a wonderful locale. The weather cooperated with only a little rain on Thursday evening.

Some comments:
Lot of new faces.
BMW takes FTD !!!! Congrats Mark, great job.
Subies politely gave Miatae point bys.
From Southern NH, it is about a 6 hour drive and well worth it.
Several drivers indicated they would like a three day event or two dates scheduled for this the track.
Others commented they would give up Watkins Glen for an additional date at Tremblant.
Great place to take wive or significant others. Local golf, lake, mountain, biking and scenery.
Local micro-brewery.

Looking forward to next year.
Ditto to all of that, it really is a great family destination. Even though my car broke the family had a blast.

Someone left a red M&R neck ring on my truck, well used but in good shape. Drop me a note with an address and I'll send it to you or bring it to the next event.
I agree with all of the above comments- except for the deletion of the WGI event. There are other cars in the club other than Miatas. The Glen is a fabulous track- yes a horsepower track- but worldclass none-the-less. If NHIS continues it's trend of shutting us out of weekends and dates altogether, I would surely vote for another Tremblant date.
p.s. Big congrats to Mario for his first SPA win- smoking fast both days !
p.s.s. Extra special thanks to Mike D. for helping me control the bleeding.

I had a blast at Tremblant! I made it into a week long vacation with Alex (my girl friend not the Miata driver ). This was my first non-NHIS track and my first time without my Evo and I had so much fun.

Thanks to Carl and Wendy for their organization skills. Mark L for his tremendous instruction and everyone else. It was great seeing familar faces up there after being among strange Canadians for a week.

Thanks,
Brad
Scott, as the driver of an M3Stang, you should acknowledge that a BMW (yikes) set FTD.

Kudos to Mark and his BMW. Mike's car is very impressive on the track. Very nimble and awesome brakes. Get a little Mustang V8 grunt under the hood and WOOHOO !
Sounds like a great time, sorry I missed it - between work issues and blowing my travel budget (on another car...) I had to pass - def next year.

Scott, I've got the T-5 from that convertible under my work bench, do you need it for NHIS?
Tom and Gary, thanks for the t5 offers. Coleen and I met George (last name ?) at the dinner. He has a low mileage- history known t5 that I'm buying. I had 3 t5s in the backyard. After tripping over them for 3-4 years, I don't think any of them are worth using. 2 are 4 cyl. turbo cpe trannys and the 3rd is a v8, but pops out of 2nd gear...I opened up my Tremblant tranny...man I really munched 3rd gear and the opposing counter shaft gear. Tom if you are not gonna use your t5 I may be interested in it as a spare.

I'll be at NHIS...I can feel Mario coming...these last 3 events are gonna be fun.
