WGI TRACK INFORMATION – September 13-14, 2021


Please READ ALL of this, some is still different from previous years!

GENERAL INFORMATION
• No minors under 18 or family/friends that are not ‘crew’ will be allowed.
• Crew list must be provided to the Registrar 48 hrs before the event, please send it early. Entry will now be allowed for anyone not on the list. EMAIL your list to mailto:comregistrar@comcast.net.
• PPE is required at any time that social distancing is not maintained. 2 violations of this policy will result in a shut-down of the event while regulations are re-explained. Further non-compliance will result in an end to the day’s activities.
• All drivers meetings and instructional gatherings must be held outdoors. The Media Center will not be available.
• Bathroom facilities will be deep cleaned each night, with periodic sanitation throughout the day.
• Hand sanitizing locations will be maintained throughout the facility.
• Reminder signage will be located throughout the facility.

TRACK REGISTRATION SUNDAY NIGHT
• Registration hours are 5pm - 8pm at the REGISTRATION BUILDING (top of the hill near Gate #3). Receive wristband.
• Vehicles/Trailers may be dropped off at this time in Lot #3
• There will be NO TRACK ENTRY SUNDAY NIGHT.
• No camping or staying on WGI property.

TRACK ENTRY MONDAY MORNING
• REGISTRATION BUILDING is not open.
• Track entry will start at 6am at Gate #2 (regular entry gate down the hill towards town).
• The gate will only admit individuals with the proper wristband. Please no Family/Friends/Children this year.
• The COM Sports Car Club registration area will be located in the Main Garage, and will open from 7:00 to 8:00AM.

TRACK ENTRY TUESDAY MORNING
• REGISTRATION BUILDING is not open.
• Track entry will start at 6am at Gate #2 (regular entry gate down the hill towards town).
• The gate will only admit individuals with the proper wristband. Please no Family/Friends/Children this year.
• The COM Sports Car Club registration area will be located in the Main Garage, and will open from 7:00 to 8:00AM.

ADDITIONAL STUFF
• The Media Center will not be available.
• Food Service may not be available.
• Tech will be open from 7:05am to 8:05am both days. Tech line starts at garage 30 and winds its way back around the building counter-clockwise. Please show up in line with your car ready to be tech inspected - bring your registration sheet, helmet, (and drivers suit if Super Class), car numbers in place
• Traffic flow around the garages is counter clockwise. The speed is VERY SLOW.
• The gas pumps will be open with 93, 101 and 112 octane fuel available. Hours are 8:00AM to 11:30AM and 12:00 PM to 3:30PM, there will be a track employee there to assist you.
• As with all the other tracks, unmanned aerial systems (drones) are not allowed to operate on the property at any time.
• If you damage the track, you will be getting a bill from the track management, usually with an hour of the incident. So don’t damage the track please.

The track told me that management has had a change of heart....but wouldn't give me the details. I hope for official word tomorrow (I will be asking due to the short notice for us). Stay Tuned!!

ATTENDANCE UPDATE!!!

The track has reported that they will be allowing FAMILY (including minors) AND FRIENDS (no restrictions and NO LIST REQUIRED) at our event next week.

This will be formally announced tomorrow so please pay attention for confirmation but feel free to plan ahead!!!!
