COM Swag?

Post by 4EyedFoxbody » Tue Jun 22, 2021 8:46 am

Hey guys,

I was wondering if they still give out the membership t-shirts? I have a collection of shirts going back to 2014 and wanted to keep my collection growing lol. My wife has strict orders to never throw away any COM t-shirts no matter the condition! Anyway, I didn't get one in 2020 and nothing in 2021 yet. Just didn't know if we have stopped this tradition?

Best,

I'd buy some swag if it's for sale too, COM shirts are awesome.

Offering a swag store would be great.

John,

We do not mail swag packages anymore, as it is far too costly and time consuming to along with no volunteers willing to do it. What we have been doing has been to offer one shirt per member, which was done at the first three events in 2020.

Due to COVID we have not placed a swag order in 2021, and I'm not sure we are going to, though we are exploring options. Come see me or Bob at the next event if you'd like a shirt and hat. We will sell additional inventory as available.

Though it would be nice to have a online store, it is an effort that would need to be created, maintained and staffed with resources we do not currently have....alternatively, we could drive an outside supplier to be this, but that also needs a driving resource. Our resources are focused on providing the highest quality track events in the region, so there isn't a lot of bandwidth for stuff outside of that at the moment.

Gotcha and I understand. Energy spent on having great events is by far energy well spent. See you at Thompson.

Is the shirt design this year the same as last year?

The shirts are a carry over from last year. We have not placed a swag order in 2021, and we still have a decent amount of inventory.
