I'm built this roll bar for a customers 2017 M2 convertible. what a hell job no place to mount foot plates with out moving things and a total PITA to get the height needed to pass the broomstick test for a 6'2' person but I got it done to add to the fun the customer wants to retain his rear seat.

there is no point to the rear seat! a person maybe able to climb over the rear QTR panel and sit back there but it's not going to be comfortable.
to mount the rear legs the rear seat belts had to be removed it's the only place where the metal is a heavy enough gauge and with work I can get a back plate on the back side of the cars sheet metal.
strangely in many states rear passengers don't need to be belted if over 16 years of age.
