Hi !
Just wanted to let everyone know that there a NEWLY opened Champlain Bridge to cross into Montreal. There may be still some construction around there and beware of potholes going through Montreal expressway, Trans-Canada Highway and then should be all clear once you are on Hwy 15 bound for Mont-Tremblant
Safe travels everyone!

Are you sure it's open? I haven't seen any announcement that it finally did open.

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/ ... ix-months/ says it's opening June 24th in the northbound direction.
https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2019/ ... -24-juin-1 adds that Southbound direction is opening on the 28th.
So no new bridge for most of us.

Sorry about that.
I was recently in Montreal and told the bridge was going to open but I see from this news link that there were delays:

Well, watch out for the potholes on old bridge then, I had to send my car for re-alignment...

I always avoid Montreal traffic by going over the Pont Mercier bridge. Also take a little known border crossing on rt 223

It's Montreal. Just watch out for potholes, generally.StephanAlfa wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 12:44 pm

It was definitely not open two weeks ago. All that new bridge does at the moment is block your view of that fantastic skyline as you approach the city.
