I've never driven Palmer backwards before. Does anyone have any videos to recommend that show an effective line around the track? Any tips or tricks to share? I was hoping that we might get an advanced coaching notes package but I haven't seen anything yet.

Re: Palmer Backwards
Hi everyone;
I have submitted my prepared track narrative to COMSCC Chief Instructor and President.
I was on track "testing" CW config on 31 August 2018 and sharing the footage here:
The significant "change" is the concrete barriers at T-1 and now you'll have more visibility.
Also Apologies for the swearing at the end of session, I could NOT contain my excitement...
Hope this helps!
Stephan

Re: Palmer Backwards
when i come into turn 1 clockwise or you could call it turn 14 i do not brake with my cars i have used running it clockwise. that would be my 93 , 92 miata's , 09 MX-5 cup / spec car and our 458 ferrari along with our 2018 STI RA. i have run clockwise 11 times now and will be doing it again this tuesday.
what i do is a lift turn in and then hold light throttle until the ripple strips on my right ( apex) then i get in the brakes .you will be heading in a straight line between the apex of 1 (14) and 2 (13) and i do my down gearing there also.
between turning the car and the lift for turn 1 (14) plus the uphill it will slow the car enough so no braking really should be needed.
i release the brakes just before the crest of the hill of 2 (13) .
other then that my lines and what i do is the same as Jeff's
