Upon re-reviewing the rule book I see That Rule, but none to support it - in other words it doesn't say where I go once bumped from ST 2. Therefore the rule is invalid.
(right?)

Hey, this is not a problem. I'm glad to know before confirming as an ST 2 car. I assume I graduate to ST 1, now, though I don't find an actual ruling on this matter. Now I get to meet more COM members ; ST 1 seems to have more competitors (at least at away tracks) ; and they seem to be turning similar times to ST 2, so, besides making my ST 2 magnets obsolete it's all good.

non-stock boost levels

Hi Mike,

If I'm not mistaken, and interpret the rules correctly, a chip that bumps up your boost levels would take you to SP. And, again if I'm not mistaken, a forced-induction 4-cyl with altered boost would then be SPB.
