Gee Dan, you were complaining about not getting into the track late and your battery wouldn't hold up. Thought you were looking for an alternative to give your decrepit bones a rest. Sorry, I guess my mistake.

I like my comfort. I still have the AC working in my car so I don't get hot on pit lane, plus I also have the fancy Mach 460 stereo still in the car so I can play a cd to relax with.
The bed in my trailer is more comfortable than the ones at the Red Roof (I've been there and done that before) :P

so it sounds like inside the paddock I can get 30A service w/ water. Is that correct?
what about camp fires? infield only (non-paddock area)?

No water hook ups in the paddock, only in the infield camping area

But if there are racecars around it is guaranteed to rain at nhis- if that helps.

Yes, infield camping area is where the Big Boys park their motor coaches. Water and lights, and, when I was up there in 2005 with a bike racing buddy, we even had live phone lines at the hook ups. Used local number for my dialup internet!!
