Edit: Ergh... it's 10+ hours from Woburn.
Having spent much "quality" time in Woburn myself, I'd say that is a plus.

I thought Calabogie was closer than Mosport, no?
Can't do events three weekends in a row, tempting as it may be. Hope we try them out next year.

I emailed them to make sure they will accept my car and license and I am there!

The track requires that all cars to have mufflers and warns that EVERY car will be inspected and noise tested under full acceleration before it enters the track. Levels must not exceed the 92dB limit at 50 ft.

Shouldn't be a problem....I have a V-6 with headers going into Borla mufflers that measure 7" X 5" X 14" so it should be pretty quiet I think. The pipes are them going out the back and if it is still loud I can add supertrapps.

um, am I correct in my understanding that the aforementioned V6 Chevy resides in a Indycar?
wow...this should be interesting, although I suspect that Calabogie may not be the ideal type of circuit for something like this.
can't wait to see this!

I just pray that my car is done in time. We hope to test in my friend's Mall parking lot Sunday morning on the 8th. I have a video cameraman coming along to make a documentary type dvd of this project. We fired it up for the first time this past Thursday and it sounds SWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTT!

Yep, signing up tonight. It'll be one hell of a drive back to Boston though since I've to work on Monday

Oh man, I so wish this was a different weekend.
-And that I had another set of tires.
-And that it wasn't so far - the fuel cost to tow up there is more than the cost of the track day!

hope you guys are registering yourselves in "Performance C - Closed Wheel race cars", otherwise, in the lower groups I fear you may run into some slower (confused?) traffic.
just a wild guess based on some of the posts on the MCO message board...
