Calabogie with Motorpsorts Cub of Ottawa on Oct.14 & 15

Post by mr2sc » Thu Sep 14, 2006 2:04 pm

just thought I'd post this in case anyone else may be interested...

http://www.mco.org/cms/

Its CAD$150/day, or $250 for both Saturday and Sunday including Saturday BBQ

registration form at
http://www.mco.org/form/calabogie2006.php

Last time I did an MCO event was at MT in 1979 (no comments please!), but this may be a great opportunity to experience Calabogie. They told me everyone is welcome to participate

cheers

you're gonna laugh, but I drove 2 'vehicles' in that road race event which was called 'Bytown Motor Races'.

One, was a D Production GT6+ which never made it beyond lap 1.

The other was a 100cc Kart (using the short course) and I happened to win the race and with that clinched the Quebec CKC Karting Club class championship <sigh>

hmm, well I may be a bit slower and more reserved than back in those days...BUT, at least I still don't need no electronic walkers 'on' my car

Looks like a very interesting track, but 6.5 hours to get there is a bit much for me.
