Camping at Tamworth
Excited to hear about the club running at Tamworth! Wanted to know what the track rules are about camping there? Local hotels? Is there going to be garages available? Who's got the skinny?

Is there a secret handshake to register or is it still suspended?
Re: Camping at Tamworth
We are still working on the details with them; but are getting close to being ready to share all this info.
Thanks for your understanding and patience. As soon as we have solid info to share we will, as well as opening up reg.

We are still working out the details, but one thing I can tell you is that there will be no camping of any kind allowed at the facility for this event. This will change in 2018.
For this event, the facility will be locked at 7pm each night. No one will be allowed to stay on the grounds at all. This means we will not have time to do a BBQ, and we will need to be packed up and gone by 7 on the second day or some really nasty fees apply.

Just to add, there are no garages on site. There is a Days Inn and Econo Lodge right down the street. There is also a nice state campground nearby White Lake State Park.
Re: Camping at Tamworth
For what it's worth, you'll probably find better parking for trailers at the Days Inn.

I wonder if we can dump trailers the night before at the track.

perhaps a local restaurant could be reserved.TroyV wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2017 5:48 pmWe are still working out the details, but one thing I can tell you is that there will be no camping of any kind allowed at the facility for this event. This will change in 2018.

I highly suggest Hobbs if you go that route.
