M4 convertible, roll bar required?

Post by DanB » Wed Mar 22, 2017 4:22 pm

A friend is interested in tracking his M4 retractable-hardtop convertible. It has rollover protection in the form of a roll-bar type structure that deploys in event of rollover.

Is an additional fixed roll bar required for this car to run a COM event?

Thanks!

Dan, I recently submitted an email to Tom Cannon (Chief of Tech) on behalf of a potential new member with a similar question. 2015 Miata with a retractable hardtop and pop-up rollover protection. I suggest either you or your friend also submit an email.
The purpose of the email is to start the research process- which often includes feedback from the Stewards.
