Trailer Tires

Post by MiataSteve » Mon Nov 28, 2016 8:30 pm

Trailer tires have been the topic with a few of us. Well the original tires on my 2001 trailer are overdue for replacement. I just did a search for the 205/75D 14 Loadstars that came on my trailer.... I just ordered 4 new tires AND rims at Walmart (I never shop there), delivered to my house for $287.85 tax included. It is the same set-up as the OEM.

So no excuse for you guys running on old dried up Bald Eagles! https://www.walmart.com/ip/Loadstar-Ken ... e/37310278

Of course when they get here and the date code is 10 years old...not such a good deal. We shall see.

I've been buying trailer tires from http://www.petestire.com/
They're all over the region and have good pricing.

How about some brand/model discussion? My second (or maybe third) set of Carlisles is due for replacement soon on my open trailer. Loaded it weighs around 4500#.
