Thompson 2016 videos

Post by wizzman » Tue Jul 19, 2016 11:02 am

My timer was using the regular start finish so the timing is messed up. My second lap was my best. Finally a respectable performance in a TT after an abysmal 2015.

The more fun part starts about 53 seconds in. Pretty happy with the camera angle, I just suction cupped the GoPro to the roof. Youtube drops the quality a bit but I get track/hands/feet/speeds in frame so I will use this spot going forward.

Great camera angle Clammy, except you should remove your rearview mirror so we can see where you're going.

Dave, you can reset the start/finish position in RaceRender. You can do it in the AIM software also, but much easier in RR.

Thank you Dave! I make easy things difficult sometimes.

The fastest lap all day was actually my second session I did a 1.24.9. I was able to consistently go for 1.25.5 most of the time but my street tires are completely overwhelmed. Working on setting up Harry's lap timer and or AIM for next event in Canada.

All you have to do is paste the youtube URL into the post window. The forum should automatically embed the video.
