I hate that videos don't really show elevation well. I wonder if it is as steep as 4-5 at Palmer.

Palmer has 190' of elevation change, this is supposed to have 300'

It sure does look incredible. It's not 30 minutes away like Whiskey Hill (for me) but sure would be worth the trip.

I mentioned in another thread viewtopic.php?p=41795#p41795, I was there last week for a tour and a lead follow at 3/4 speed (paved but no railing yet, just granite walls :D ). The track will be fast, I was breaking 100MPH on the front straight following a Range Rover. The view is spectacular. It has been a long time coming but it appears they are doing it right and not cutting corners. We'll have to see what the safety systems look like when complete. The plan is for Armco with catch fences and tire walls.

And no, the video does not do justice to the elevation change. Horsepower will be your friend.

If you haven't seen the video with asphalt yet.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzZLemQmxcM

Just watched a you tube video entitled " A lap around ta worth with a 65 Daytona Coupe
The best part was some of it was taken with a drone and you can see the elevation changes which looked awesome.

I was just at Club Motorsports and they were wrapping up the final layer of pavement. They have to back fill and get the safety barriers up. No buildings yet and some paddock work to do. I think they made some changes from the original design as they found more ledge than they hoping for. Looks great. I can't believe we have six road courses in New England, 3 in NH.

Really no reason to leave New England. Well, maybe for the Glen.

COM Officers and BOD had a great visit to Club Motorsports yesterday. Safety gear is not yet in place, but the top coat of asphalt is finished; curbing, barriers, and catch fences are planned to be complete by October for an official launch at the beginning of the 2017 season. I didn't run video in my car but I was able to help render a couple laps for Troy, including some incredible data on the elevation.

[edit] updated video with corrected elevation [/edit]

That is a serious piece of asphalt!!! Track looks wide..50 feet in some places...maybe more in runoff areas. Wow. That hairpin looks tight and that last corner before the main straight looks challenging. Wow. Sign me up.. :D :sunny:
