1. Gates open at 630AM Saturday and Sunday morning.
2. You may drop of trailers on Friday late afternoon, BUT, the gate to the pits will be closed and locked after 900PM. There is parking space inside the first gate, but at your own risk as there will be no security
3. Lunch from 1200 to 100. The local store/deli will have food available for lunch and coffee and muffins in the AM. Recommend we support the local business!
4. Event over at 500PM.
5. Directions form South: Rte 93 N to Rte 89 N. Off at exit 17 onto Rte 4 S. Continue on Rte 4 through Enfield. Left on Route 118 in Canaan. Track on right @ 2 miles.
6. IF you use GPS directions when using Rte 4 off Rte 93(also an exit 17!!) in Boscawen/Penacook watch out, your GPS will take you on a dinky dirt road around the mountain!. Best just to shut off GPS, stay on Rte 4 N through Andover, New London, etc. In Canaan you will go right on Rte 118, a mile or so later track is on the right.
7. Enter 2nd gate at the speedway. Plenty of parking, but give priority to those bringing trailers.
8. Again, recommend we use the local store/deli for coffee/muffins and lunch.
9. We may have to provide our own flaggers, so plan on volunteering.
10. No fuel available at the track.
11. There is a building we can use for registration and lunch.
NOW...........maybe most important! The DB limit is 96! No exhaust turn downs allowed! One shot at it and you are OUT!.

I spoke to Sam regarding camping:
We will be locked in when they close down the track - not sure what time.
The building will also be locked ( bathrooms ) Port-a-potties will be outside to use.
No showers - no WaWa.
Seems like a prison- Yes Martha we will be in a lock down mode so make sure you bring all your supplies you need.

Couple other notes, based on our last visit there:
- There is no shade, except what you bring.
- Due to the location between mountains, there is pretty much a constant breeze. So if you bring shade, bring a method to tie it down. Much of the paddock is unpaved so you should be OK to stake into the ground. Hopefully there will be grass by now.
- The food available at lunch time was variable in quality, and they ran out. I agree we should support them, but bring some granola bars as back-up just in case you are at the wrong end of the line.
- Local store/deli is also the gas station, and it's right next door to the track, you'll pass it on the way in.
- If you're googling it the location is Canaan Fairgrounds, it's on Cardigan Mountain Road
- Pack in/ Pack out - there are no trash barrels, no fluid collection, plan to take everything home with you
