Just have a couple of quick announcements for June / July:
A. Event BBQ & Payment Update:
In order to simplify the BBQ registration & payment so Bobby "Shake 'N Bake" Brooks can prepare properly, we are streamlining the payment of the BBQ fee into the overall event payment process into MSR. When you register for an event in MSR, selecting the BBQ will add the appropriate fee to your total event costs. For Canaan this is being held to $10/person. For Thompson and subsequent events the BBQ fee will be $12/person to help Bob better meet our needs. If you have already registered for Canaan and selected the BBQ (prior to payment being part of MSR, please go back into MSR event registration and pay the $10 for your BBQ participation
B.Upcoming BOD meeting - Alternate Location
Our next BOD meeting is on Wednesday June 15th, 2016 at a different location, 55 Network Drive, Burlington, Ma. We are using space at Jeff Wasilko’s office which is located on the 1st floor. The meetings begin at 7:30pm.

Re: 2016 COMSCC – Updates for June / July
Hi, Couple questions regarding Thompson:
Already signed up for BBQ but the system did not charge a fee, I see no way to update/pay on MSR, am I missing something?
When I signed up a few days after registration opened, MSR said day two was sold out, even though there was only a few other entries shown at the time. The system said I was confirmed for day one but "waitlisted" for day two, however my name shows up on the attendee list for both days. The system has never confirmed me for day two. I see the attendee list growing so I assume it was not actually sold out. Was that just a glitch with MSR?
I tried the "email registrar" function of MSR but not sure it goes anywhere. I'm asking on here in case others are in the same boat.
Thanks.

Re: 2016 COMSCC – Updates for June / July
Hi Mark,
If you are not able to go back and do that for the COM BBQ no problem. You can just pay at Thompson.
One of the main reasons for registration and payment on MSR was that I had 13 who signed up and did not show up at the last event.
This causes a problem for either not having enough food for those who sign up late or an abundance that is perishable.
We realize that for those who signed up early it may pose a problem as we transfer over.
Thanks,
SnB
