^Wow. Incredible footage from many angles. Looks like tire contact (RF to LR) lifted the red Ferrari and once nose up it just took off. Wow..glad safety is so much better today..

The nose of the Ferrari must be contoured in such a way that it was able to ride up the left rear fender of the other car - almost exactly what happened at Le Mans in 1955.

it's kind of simple as to what happened with the Ferrari's .
1st they have good aero down force .
2nd they are made out of composites .
when the right front of the red car hit the left rear of the black one the composite panel broke exposing the tires of the two cars. we all know with open wheel cars what happens when wheel hit each other .
once the tires hit and shot the red cars nose into the air aero took over from there .
