Re: Palmer
(just corrected this as I realized I posted the same map twice)
Here is my suggested driving route from Sturbridge to Palmer. It's truck/trailer friendly. It's almost all state highway, with no height restrictions (low bridges). The hills are pretty moderate (I was able to stay over 35-40 even on the hilly parts). A large part of route 20 between Sturbridge and Brimfield is 4 lanes as well.
The route, briefly:
route 20W to 19N (Warren Road which becomes Brimfield road)
go under 90, then hard left onto Brook Road
First right onto South Street.
After the bridge, turn left onto Main St (67).
Turn right onto Ware Road at the Dippin Donuts.
Note that if your GPS software tries to put you onto Grove St as a short cut to Ware Road, don't take that if you're towing. It's narrow and tight. See the 2nd image below.

Re: Palmer
I'm looking to set up Palmer in my AIM solo. Do I need to do anything besides enter the start/finish coordinates at the starting line?
Is there a track map file to download for race studio2? Didn't find anything on line, but my search may be weak...
Thanks

Re: Palmer
You need to use GPSManager to update the gps locations. I've got a map and the official s/f coordinates here:

Re: Palmer
If you can't get it loaded beforehand, you're correct, walk to start finish and add the new track directly into the AIM.dinoracer wrote:I'm looking to set up Palmer in my AIM solo. Do I need to do anything besides enter the start/finish coordinates at the starting line?

The benefit of downloading Jeff's file and loading it beforehand will be that it will appear in your track list by name (otherwise I think it just has the date as the track name), and you won't have to do anything to set it up when you get to the track, it'll just work.
Re: Palmer
Thanks Jeff, that's exactly what I was hoping for.
