I have a carbon monoxide detector in the dodge lodge that I bought at Wal-Mart for 12 dollars .I'm not talking about that !

what I'm talking about is a small van closed up tighter than a frogs a$$ and running out of oxygen .
the indoor safe heaters have auto shut offs for this .
as for fires along with every thing else it comes down to common sense .

not referring to CO2 levels but if you smell propane from a propane heater you should turn it off right away !
propane heaters burn cleaner then kerosene and you should not at any time smell it .

if you look back at my posts I never made any comment about propane heaters producing smelly exhaust.

I never stated you did say it in this posting !
you asked me that at NHMS when you were there and you walking by and saw my heater running in the van .
this is how I know about your torpedo kerosene heater smelling at your shop .
you stated you were using one and you did not like it because it smelled .
because you had concern then about propane being the same as kerosene I told you then all the same things I'm saying now .
it was a cold day and you were staying in your trailer .

for the same price of a two night stay at a BB you can install a propane heater in your trailer and it will be safe , clean burning (and lets not confuse clean burning and not smelling with CO2's ) .
if your worried about co2's get a detector .
if your worried about fire get a detector .
