Yes, I agree. It has been age's since the last new Top Gear episode. They have been running those silly clip shows all year. Granted, Top Gear must be very expensive and time consuming to produce.
I missed the new episode Monday because I was watching Street Outlaws. That show is totally staged, but fun to watch anyway.

you think is staged ????
this is no joke I'm building a cage and doing composite panels on this guys 1992 Honda civic that wants to run those guys .
if I told you what the guessed HP this so called B18 motor is putting out you would not believe me as I didn't believe the car owner until I started looking into it my self . it seams he told me a HP rating much lower then it should really be for what he built .

I am not saying the cars and races are not real. But do you really think that they are running their races on an open road, with no approval or permits from local authorities? Think of the time it takes setup all the cameras, sound, and lighting, and then never bothered during the event.

Do you really think that investors and a TV network will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a television series and not have a planned, scripted outcome?

My feeling is this show is in the same vain as Big Brother, Survivor, The Bachelor, The Voice, and Dancing with the Stars – the outcome is known once the writers reveal the script prior to the first episode. No one would invest the required financial backing without knowing that the show will have a preplanned attention-grabbing story-line.
