yep that's it mine was blue . I miss it
I tried many time to get it registered with no luck even Maine sent the paper work back to me .
it was a blast to drive even though I was a little big for the car . any one who is 6 feet tall and has driven a Ferrari 308/328 will know how it is .
I wanted to turn it into a track only car but the down side with that are the rules . it's one of the times there should be a T20 class .
the reason is it had so many minus points for T30 but it's not a car you should up grade . it's worth more stock being there are non in the states that I know of .
I guy in the army bought it new in japan when he was stationed there . he was getting sent back to the states and leaving the army and wanted the car . he then took the hole car totally apart and shipped it back to the states in crates a little at a time . he then finely got out of the army and tried to put the car back together . but because he just had all the nuts and bolts in boxes and nothing was marked were the can out of nor did he keep track of any of the disassembly as to were and how things went he was totally lost . that's when he called me .
I gave him a price to reassemble the car as it was a basket case and he could not afford it . I told him I would buy the car as is and gave him a price . he said no ! then two months later he called me again and said he would sell it to me if I still wanted it .
it took me about a year to get the car back together working on it at night 3 to 5 days a week .
I put so many things together only to find out I had to take it back off because there was some thing else that had to be put together 1st . even stupid things like bolts that looked like it should go here to find out it's not the bolt for that so you have to take it back out .

I like the looks of the car the owner had the speed body on the car even though it's not a speed .
so the car had the rear spoiler and bumpers that looked more aggressive along with 14" x 6" wheels instead of the stock 13" x 4" wheels he also had a ECU tune done .
stock the car offered 63 HP and 63 torques with the tune the guess was about 70 HP and torque .
so the power to weight was about was .047 per lb .
the highest top speed I could do with the car was 106 MPH the PO told me that he had the tune done more to get rid of the governed ecu top speed of 85 MPH .
the car was a blast to drive even though it was slow with little brakes and soft suspension but it was like the stock early miatas just a run car .
at some point I have to get my photos off my old PC with a driver that is no good so I can't just transfer the files when I do get them I will post some photos of the car .
